LJ's 24,000 lb Pipe Turning Positioner Rental has a load capacity of 12 tons at the mounting plate and a turning torque of 250,000 in-lb. Be it a large workpiece or small, this welding positioner will deliver flawless rotations every time. This welding positioner is specifically geared toward larger weldment jobs with an outer diameter (OD) capacity ranging from 2” up to 60” OD. Its working height range operates between 48" to 96" and can be adjusted in increments of 6" at a time. Adjusting the height is a simple and quick process that typically requires an overhead crane. The power requirement of this positioner is 480 or 208 V, 3 ph. Its ground capacity is 1500 Amps. But, it can be modified for different ground capacities too. The rotation speed ranges between 0.05 and 1.2 rotations per minute (RPM). The dimension of this positioner is 96” x 71” x 69” and it weighs 8,600 lb. without the gripper.
