6,000 LB PIPE TURNING POSITIONER: H6PS-100

Engineered with LJ's adaptive welding technology and built for heavy-duty use and long working life, the 6,000 lb Pipe Turning Positioner H6PS-100 is our introductory option in the powered headstock series of welding positioners. Flexible and expandable, it can be fully integrated with a manipulator or paired with a robot for complete automation and optimal productivity. Automated height and rotation adjustments enable fast alignment and the smooth, controlled rotation of heavy workpieces, minimizing material handling and reducing production costs associated with the need for extra labor and equipment and optimizing workplace safety, efficiency and productivity. Automated powered adjustments can be controlled remotely with a wireless hand pendant, footswitch, or locally at the push of a button. Powered height adjustability between 32-72 inches can be modified to meet the specific requirements of our customers and is highly precise. It can be configured within a fraction of an inch and allows the optimal alignment of workpieces and the most effective torch position for welders or a robotic interface, allowing operators to deliver the most efficient, consistent, and highest-quality welds.

Despite its compact size, our 6,000 lb Powered Headstock Welding Positioner is robust and durable, equipped with 60,000 in-lbs turning torque and an adjustable rotation speed between 0.1-2.5 rpm. Its load capacity is 6,000 lbs at 12-inch overhung and doubles to three tons when used in tandem with a powered tailstock. This enables digitally synchronized rotation at the press of a button and allows the precise elevation and rotation of longer and heavier loads, significantly expanding the power, functionality and productivity of the H6PS-100. This Headstock positioner has power requirements of 480V by default. Alternate power options if 208-600V, 50 or 60 Hz input power are modifiable. Ground capacity for this Powered Headstock/Tailstock Positioner comes standard at 800 Amps. However, this is also customizable to 200 Amp, 400 Amp or 1500 Amp, depending on your shop's requirements.
