The process includes prepping the vessel, loading it onto the turning rolls, and making a manual root pass. Position the subarc manipulator, lock the swivel base, and use touchscreen and joystick controls for easy weld head positioning. A camera system allows safe viewing, while joystick-controlled cross slides fine-tune the weld head. Start the flux recovery system and welding with a single button.
