Project : Lifting, support and rotation of pipe on a custom drilling/cutting application.

The LJ Welding Solution : LJ provided a full customized set of steady rest rollers used for 2 separate lathe beds. Roller wheel spacing controlled by precision servo drives, zero backlash gearboxes, for precise support, lifting and rotation of 4-42" diameter pipe, up to 8,000 lbs per unit. V-rollers for rolling pipe axially into position. Independently controlled hydraulic brakes for holding load during drilling process included. The Result : LJ delivered the project on tight timelines. LJ's customer Quickmill, based in Ontario, Canada, was able to deliver a high end steady rest lathe support roller to their end customer in Brazil on schedule.

Application : Steady Rest Lathe Support Rollers with hold down rollers

Project : Customer required heavy duty steady rest rollers, complete with hold down rollers for a machining process of 2-8" heavy wall pipe.

The LJ Welding Solution : LJ supplied extra heavy duty steady rest rollers with a swivel base shock absorbing hold down, adjustable height v-rollers for rolling pipe into position on lathe, and powered lead screw spacing style wheels which allowed customer to lift pipe vertically, support and rotate pipe at machining speeds of up to 200RPM.

The Result : LJ provided a turnkey steady rest roller solution for customer at a very economical price.

Application : Extra heavy duty pipe handling rollers for offshore pipe water intake

Project : Hose Recovery & Deployment Chute Rollers- extra heavy duty pipe handling rollers for handling 4-42" hose with a combined capacity of 200,000 lbs

The LJ Welding Solution : LJ supplied engineered modular tube roller assembly, which was tailored to mount directly onto an existing skid. The customer was able to view the project in 3D format from the other side of the world prior to manufacturing. The Result: The roller fit perfectly onto the mounting skid, and the customer utilized the rollers with excellent results.
