Custom Specifications:
APPLICATION: Equipment for lifting, positioning, and turning sections of large diameter, heavy wall pipe which are then welded together.
CUSTOMER NEEDS: Equipment capable of adjusting working height of pipe, utilizing variable speed wheel spacing control, due to slightly sloped shop floor. Equipment must rotate pipe while holding separate pipe sections inline.
SPECIFICATIONS: Variable speed, forward/reverse, 10" - 50" per minute wheel turning speed, 12,000 lbs load capacity per unit, symmetrical variable speed wheel spacing control, 6" - 48" pipe diameter range, 110 V, 15A, 1-phase AC power input.
RESULTS: A vessel rolling system that allows for fi ne height adjustment while keeping workpieces centered. Fully engineered from concept to delivery in 6 weeks.
